Welcome to the Year 2 class page. Our class teacher is Miss Adams. Mrs Bywater covers the class on a Tuesday morning. Our Teaching Assistants are Mrs McInerney and Miss Howard.

Homework and spellings will be sent home every Friday.  The spelling test will take place on the following Friday. Access to spelling shed will be available to practise spellings at home.  Homework needs to be returned the following Thursday.

Reading books will be changed weekly, please ensure children are bringing their reading journal into school every day and are returning their reading books regularly otherwise they cannot be changed.

Please make sure you read daily at home!  If you read four times a week and it is written in your reading journal, you will get a raffle ticket to join our reading raffle.

PE sessions will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is advised that your child brings their PE kit on a Monday and takes it home on a Friday to be washed.

Autumn Term

Year 2 have had a great term. They loved their visit to Horizon to see a wonderful Orchestra, they raised lots of money when completing the Rudolph run and ended the term with a wonderful nativity! Well Done everyone!
