Year 4 visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park to deepen their understanding of their current Science topic 'Living things and their habitats.' 

Year 6 visit Magna

Year 6 had a wonderful time visiting Magna Science Adventure Centre.  The children explored the wonders of Science and Technology in the four pavilions – Air, Earth, Fire & Water! As part of the day, the children took part in a Hot Air balloon workshop where they designed their own balloons and tested them against each other’s.  In addition to this,  they attended a forces show about fire, rockets and whirlpools.

Year 5 visited the Science department at Horizon Community College.The children had the opportunity to undertake a range of scientific investigations in the Science lab of Horizon Community College.  They had a great time and deepened their understanding of their current topic 'Properties and changes of materials.'
