Vision and Ethos

Holy Rood Catholic Primary School has a calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere where staff and children promote the Catholic values of our school, allowing every child to grow both spiritually and morally following the examples that Jesus gave. Children leave our school as respectful members of the community. We encourage our children to embrace our school motto of ‘Live, love, learn’ and to be proud of their achievements ensuring that as they leave Holy Rood, the children will have developed skills that will prepare them for the next stage of their education.
