Spring Term - 2021

Year 2 have had a brilliant Spring term. We have enjoyed a huge variety of books in class, Red in the City based on Little Red Riding Hood, Diary of a Killer Cat who wasn't really a killer at all.  We have written riddles about ourselves - this was great fun trying to guess who they were. We have really enjoyed well-being Wednesday, lots of different activities, the best being a DT box from Hepp DT. The best moment of all was all of us being back together again at the beginning of March. Hope Summer Term is just as much fun.

Autumn Term 2 - 2020

What a fantastic half term we have had!  Hands on learning with a huge variety of tools, switch off lessons - “best lesson ever” in maths. Super effort in PE lessons whatever the weather. Lovely thoughtful thinking from everyone especially in our learning of advent.  It is an absolute pleasure to be a Year 2 member

Autumn Term 1 - 2020

Year 2 have been really busy this half term. Discovering nature outside, enjoying all aspects of PE along with special activities in connection with their science learning.

It has been lovely to welcome Year 2 back into school. They have made a brilliant start and have loved being back together again, especially at play time! They have really missed each other.  They are perfecting all of the daily routines, hand washing and more hand washing!

There are some very thoughtful children, from thinking about their thoughts and feelings to creating a new prayer to be thankful for their friends and families. We are very much looking forward to the rest of the year.
