July 2024
We hosted our final Tiny Tots Stay and Play session for this academic year and were delighted to see so many familiar faces. We explored sand and water play, even putting our bare feet into the sand. We shared lots of ideas for supporting this play at home. The children took home a bottle of bubbles each and a little ‘thank you’ chocolate treat for their families. We are so grateful to everyone who has engaged with these sessions this year. We will see you again in the autumn term.

May 2024

We enjoyed a wonderful Tiny Tots Stay and Play session this week, themed around physical development. We took part in a variety of fine motor and gross motor challenges. We shared information on core control and coordination, gross motor and fine motor development and suggested experiences to try at home. Each child took home a simple pasta threading activity.

We look forward to welcoming you back into nursery for our next session, on Tuesday 9th July at 2.00pm.

March 2024

We enjoyed an Easter themed Tiny Tots Stay and Play session this week, where we welcomed 0-3 year olds into nursery. We took part in Easter inspired crafts and play opportunities. We even came together for a song and rhyme session, wher we learnt 'Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken lay a little egg for me!' 

Each family took home a free Easter craft kit. Please join us again for our next session, on Tuesday 21st May at 2.00pm.

February 2024

We shared a beautiful Tiny Tots Stay and Play session this half term, devoted to love ahead of St Valentine’s Day. The children enjoyed heart-themed crafts, exploring painting, sticking and dough to make love bugs. We read ‘Love from the crayons’ and engaged in large scale mark-making. Each child took home paper and a crayon, to enjoy mark-making at home. Thank you to the children and the families who joined us. We look forward to welcoming you into nursery again for our next session on Tuesday 26th March at 2.00pm. 

December 2023

We had a wonderful Tiny Tots Stay and Play session this half term. We explored nighttime and took part in star themed craft activities. As we are in the season of Advent, we introduced the children to Mary and Baby Jesus. We had so many children join us today and it was lovely to see them come together for a short song and rhyme time. Each child took home a free gift bag containing loose parts to make their own puppets of Mary and Joseph, as well as a little treat of shortbread star cookies. Thank you for joining us. We look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday 6th February.

October 2023

We were so pleased to welcome everyone back into nursery for our half termly Tiny Tots Stay and Play session. We celebrated the season of autumn by providing sensory play experiences. The children were so engaged and are growing in confidence. Each child took home a free gift bag containing autumn themed playdough. We look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday 4th December 2023.
