RE Inspection

At Holy Rood Catholic Primary School, our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a welcoming and nurturing environment where children can grow spiritually, academically and personally, guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and our school values of Live, Love, Learn.

Understanding Catholic School Inspections

All Catholic schools, academies and colleges are subject to canonical inspection by their diocesan bishop. Some schools and academies are also subject to a Section 48 or Section 50 inspection (or their academy equivalents). For these schools, the canonical inspection fulfils this statutory requirement.

These inspections provide an important opportunity to evaluate and celebrate the Catholic life and mission of our school, the quality of Religious Education and our provision for collective worship.

Our Latest Inspection Report

Holy Rood Catholic Primary School underwent a Section 48 Religious Education inspection in June 2024.

We invite parents, carers and members of our wider school community to read the full inspection report below.
