Growing Together in Faith

At Holy Rood Catholic Primary School, we are proud of the close relationship we share with our parish community and our Parish Priest, Fr. Damian Humphries.

Our connection with Holy Rood Catholic Church is an important part of school life, bringing together our children, families and parishioners through shared faith, prayer and celebration.

Throughout the school year, our children have opportunities to celebrate Mass at Holy Rood Church, while members of the parish community are warmly welcomed to join us for Eucharistic celebrations in school.

We also work closely with the parish to support children and their families as they prepare for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, helping them take this special step in their journey of faith.

Celebrating First Holy Communion

In June 2026, we were delighted to celebrate the First Holy Communion of our children at Holy Rood Catholic Church.

This was a wonderful occasion for our children and their families as they took an important step in their faith journey.

We pray that God continues to guide and bless them as they grow in faith, love and understanding.
